Happy Birthday!

This is a first birthday card I made for my friend's daughter.  Unfortunately, I don't have a kiddish looking "Happy Birthday" stamp.  That would be the only thing I would change about it.

The ladybug is from Paisley and the flower is from Create-a-Critter.
I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.
The paper is from my scraps.  The ribbon is The Ribbon Boutique.
I used Crystal Stickles.

Snowman Subtraction Game

Well, I didn't do so well at the start of this blog, did I?!  I'm back with a renewed commitment!  One of my 2011 goals is to post to this blog at least once a week.  I've been busy with a lot of projects and I really want to showcase them!

On to today's project...

I do math centers in my classroom.  Each day, I pull a group of kids who struggled with the previous day's topic.  While I'm working with them, the other kids are playing math games.  I used my Cricut to create a snowman subtraction game.  I used Snowman4 from the Winter Frolic cartridge (my favorite Christmas cartridge).  I cut them at 3 1/2 inches.

The hats are unattached.  The kids have to find the matches.

I put letters on the back so kids can self-check their work.

I received a Cuttlebug for Christmas, and I can't wait to put it to use!  Hopefully I'll have some pictures up soon!
